High definition television has topped the charts with recent electronic discoveries. Several companies produce similar products, for similar prices. Hitachi is the third largest technological company as far as revenue goes. They produce many products that are not electrical related, and several that are. Televisions, camcorders, projectors, and recording media, are just some of the electrical products that this age old giant company provides.

There are three different type of televisions, provided by Hitachi, the Ultra Thin LED, LCD HDTV, and Combo HDTV. The Ultra Thin LED has two separate series, the Ultra Vision Series and Personal LED Series. The Ultra Vision Series comes in 42 inch or 46 inch screens, with a 120 Hz refresh rate, component input, PC input, four separate HDMI hook ups for gaming consoles, DVD players, and blu-ray players, it also has game mode, headphone out, light sensor, a hearing aid mode, surround sound, swivel, and a USB input port. The price for the 42" is approximately $1199 and the 46" is $1499. These products are well worth the price, considering all of the amenities given with each television.

The Personal LED Series is offered in two different 19 inch screens and one 22 inch screen. The prices for the 19 inch are normally around $250 and the 22 inch is normally around $300. The main features from this series is the ultra thin LED, a 60 Hz refresh rate, the 19 inch has one HDMI connect for game consoles where as the 22 inch has two, there is one component, a pc input, a headphone out, and offers Energy Star 4.1/CA CEC. These sleek televisions would work well in any area of the home.

The other type of television that Hitachi offers are LCD HDTV and a Combo HDTV. The LCD HDTV has two series, the ultra vision series and the Alpha Series. The Ultra Vision Series has screens in sizes 32, 42, 46, and 55 inches, it ranges from $649 - $1699, is full High definition, and has smooth motion along with 3D Surround sound. The Alpha series is like the UV series in some ways, such as having four HDMI to plug gaming consoles and other electronics, a pc input, two components, headphone out, hearing aid mode, swivel, and USB Photo Viewer. As you can tell, this would be an excellent pick for a stunning home entertainment system. The UV Series also has Day and Night, along with Pro Modes.

The final TV that Hitachi has to offer, is the Combo HDTV. There are two combos, a regular HDTV with a DVD player built into the rear, and the HDTV with a built-in Blu-Ray DVD player. The TV with the original DVD player is a 26 inch that prices around $430. The features that this TV offers is a built-in DVD/CD player, 2 HDMI, 1 component, PC input, and Energy Star 4.1/CA CEC. The TV with the Blu-Ray DVD player, has a bit more to offer. It comes with a 32 inch screen, with Full HD, 60 Hz refresh rate, one component, PC input, Headphone output, BD Live, Pandora Internet Radio, and of course a built-in Blu-ray/DVD/CD player. The only down fall to this TV is that it requires an internet connection.

Along with the wonderful televisions that Hitachi offers, they also offer accessories to go with their TVs. An accessory that Hitachi offers is a sound bar and subwoofer combo priced at around $250. It will improve the sound quality of any HDTV.
